Our daily carnage on the roads

Ratepayers and taxpayers alike have been brainwashed into believing two things, firstly all accidents are the result of bad driving, or drink, secondly that there is not enough money available to carry out road improvement schemes. As a result we all believe that we are ourselves are entirely to blame for the sorry state of affairs and the authorities are exonerated from blame, when in fact it is they who are to blame.
We get the same advice and suggestions from the authorities year after year, which is without any value whatsoever, this means we are paying for something we do not need, but of course they will not want to change anything, that may stop the flow of money that is allocated to them, and so it continues, we get the lip service full of rubbish and poppycock, so this allows them to put forward some other scheme of skulduggery, that will not bring about any benefit for the whole community.
Of the vast amount of money taken from ratepayers and motorists, 44 billion only, a small percentage 8 billion is used for road building and maintenance, yet the cost of picking up the pieces after the yearly carnage is greater, a loss that has gone on for over twenty five years, this eternal waste of the long suffering ratepayer needs change, not consultants to identify the epidemic, cancer and carnage that exits on the Highways.
Ignoring new ideas is to continue down the same road, to prefer precedent to progress, looking back instead of forward, holding on to old ways, that have no benefit to any road user, in fact this is one of the biggest problems we have to put up with, their apathy, this should be brought out in to the open that they are showing no interest in certain ideas, when in fact some methods will improve our roads and with a shrinking budget save us money, as well as creating over 1million jobs and a superior service, that will be of benefit all road users and relieve pressure and stress from the police, fire brigade, ambulance and hospital staff as well as the business world.
Accidents on our roads are to put it mildly, a direct result of poor Government legislation, bad vehicle design, confusing traffic regulations by local authorities, a very low standard of road conditions including insufficient illumination in darkness. All over the Country they appear to avoid the dangers that exist, so driving standards befits a situation where 27 million vehicles on the roads, are not being considered.
Our roads are only capable of carrying one third of that number, so this avoidance of care and the dangers must be creating a golden nest egg for the Authorities.
Speed cameras, road pricing, pay-as-you-drive tolls brought about by educated nutcases, and thousands of individuals with degrees in their hands form prestigious universities who view the conditions and circumstances that surround them as very frightening, but are they seeing what they are looking at? NO.
My name is Malcolm Manby a road safety consultant with over 54 years experience who has also invented new ideas to bring about safer roads and to reduce road accidents by 75% at night. Abolishing the carnage from our road, with the absolute safety device that gives drivers the true width and alignment of the road ahead with a continuous line of light on both sides of the road as far as drivers can see, creating a superior service at less cost, showing the way ahead with new ideas that will save many lives, at the same time creating over 1 million jobs which are badly needed in the whole of the country, improving conditions, standards, drivers behaviour, attention and concentration.
